HTC Flyer price drops to £200 in the UK

The after Christmas sales have arrived! We’ve heard of a few online retailers dropping the price of HTC products, but the best deal we’ve spotted so far is the HTC Flyer Wi-Fi going for 200 GBP (about $310) in the UK. If you simply can’t live without a 3G data connection, you can pay an extra 50 GBP ($78) for the HTC Flyer 3G.

The Android tablet was recently treated to a Honeycomb update, giving users access to tablet specific apps, better HTC Scribe support and a modified UI. HTC has not announced an Android 4.0 update for the HTC Flyer yet, but if they do delivery Ice Cream Sandwich it probably will be another six months down the road.

With all the recent HTC Flyer sales that have popped up, we’re not sure if retailers are simply burning inventory or if HTC has lowered its price. Either way, HTC is expected to unveil its second generation of tablets at Mobile World Congress in February which devices running on Qualcomm’s dual-core S4 chip.
