Sprint’s HTC EVO View 4G to launch with Honeycomb?

Since the beginning, HTC has made it clear that the HTC Flyer would be updated from Android 2.3 to 3.0 as soon as feasibly possible. Just like it’s GSM counterpart, the HTC EVO View 4G was announced with Android 2.3, but a new image may indicate that Sprint’s version of the tablet may ship with Android 3.0 preloaded once it launches this summer.

We may be reaching a little here, but Sprint’s “This just in” Sprint Zone page lists the HTC EVO View 4G with Android 3.0. We know from CTIA that Sprint mentioned that the update to Honeycomb would be coming to the EVO View, but it could be that HTC’s planned Android update for the tablet is scheduled to happen before Sprint’s planned summer launch.

On the other hand, this could be a simple typo on Sprint’s part. Either way, the HTC EVO View 4G and the HTC Flyer will both be updated to Android 3.0 at some point. Would any of you actually postpone purchasing HTC’s first tablet based on the when it will get updated to Honeycomb?
