HTC Rider and HTC Kingdom to usher in a new era of HTC rule?

You can’t say much about image leaks like these, except that you can tell by the size and shape a little bit about the phones. Both of these phones appeared in blurry camera shots on 911HTC. The blog is known for distributing ROMs for HTC devices, and is usually fairly well ahead of the crowd with HTC information and resources. SO it’s a little surprising to see images, actual pictures, and no ROM image, of a couple of upcoming HTC handsets. Both devices, look to be on the large side, and at least one of them, codenamed HTC Kingdom, mentions a qHD [540 x 960] display. The second device, codenamed HTC Rider, is unusual in it’s departure from HTC’s normally standard, under the radar colour schemes, being resplendent in red.

Obviously, by the button configuration, both are Android powered, and the Rider on the right is well pre production. The button configuration on the rider is reminiscent of the Evo 3D. Both phones also seem to have a front facing camera. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is two different permutations of the same device, destined for different markets. On second thoughts though, the phone on the left, could also be a 3.7” device, looking at the proportions in the side by side images.  I’m sure we’ll find out soon.
