Video: HTC gives us a detailed look at the HTC Flyer

The 3G/4G versions of the HTC Scribe is expected to launch on T-Mobile and Sprint during Q2 and Q3 of this year, but HTC want to make sure they keep their first Android tablet fresh in our minds.  A new promotional video for the HTC Flyer has just hit YouTube.  HTC’s video typically go over a few hardware and software highlights in a one minute clip, but they’ve decided to drag this one out a little so that you can get a clear picture of what the HTC flyer is truly capable of.

Many have criticized HTC for choosing to launch the HTC Flyer with Android 2.3, but we see that as an advantage.  While other manufacturers struggle to give their tablets a bland “me too” experience, the HTC has managed to create a truly unique tablet experience with the customization of the UI and integration of HTC Scribe.

HTC is also planning to launch a Wi-Fi only version of the HTC Flyer at Best Buy in Q2.  We still have no indication as to how much HTC and the carriers plan on charging for the Flyer, but we’re hoping it’ll be competitive with other Android tablet since the market is starting to get pretty crowded.

Be sure to check out the six minute video below to get a detailed look at what make the HTC Flyer truly unique.  If Android 2.3 and the 7-inch display on the Flyer simply don’t appeal to you, keep in mind that HTC has plan to release an Android 3.0 tablet with a 10-inch display (HTC Verdi) in Q3 of this year.
