HTC Thunderbolt now available from Verizon for $249

The HTC Thunderbolt has struck!  Verizon’s first 4G LTE phone has finally arrived and can be purchased for $249 with a new two year contract from Verizon’s website.  But if the price sounds a bit steep, you may want to head on over to Amazon where they are selling the HTC Thunderbolt for only $179 with a new two year agreement.  Just keep in mind that you will be forced to tack on Verizon’s 29.99 4G data plan when you purchase the Thunderbolt. Full retail cost for the HTC Thunderbolt is set at $599.99 which isn’t too bad considering there were rumors going around that claimed the handset would cost upwards of $800.

We’ve been playing around with our demo unit for about 24 hours now and will be posting more details on the phone in the days to come.   But if you happen to purchase the HTC Thunderbolt, be sure to drop us a line and let up know what you think of it.
