Android 2.2 on the HTC Legend is finally here, but what does that really mean? Yes, Google has implemented quite a few changes in stock Android 2.2, but since the HTC Legend is loaded up with HTC Sense, many of these changes/improvements have been glossed over. HTC has been a bit quiet about that’s new in the Android 2.2 build for the Legend, but fortunately, we’ve been able to dig up a few YouTube videos which should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect.
The first video is a quick walk-through of Android 2.2 on the HTC Legend, while the second video shows how Android 2.2 on the Legend stands up to Android 2.1 in a Quadrant benchmark showdown. With a Quadrant score of 853, the HTC Legend won’t be breaking any performance records, but it’s nice to see the numbers jump over 140%.
