Those of you hoping to get your hands on the HTC DROID Incredible HD in time for the holidays will certainly be disappointed to hear that the EVO-like for Verizon may not hit store shelves until early 2011.  Fortunately that dose of bad news comes with a new image of the phone for us to enjoy.  Yes, we’ve seen pictures of the DROID Incredible HD already, but the new picture reveals that the phone will be running Android 2.2, the new HTC Sense, and support for Verizon’s LTE 4G network.

Apparently, the launch delay is due to LTE integration, but that’s certainly a god thing.  Android Central is reporting that the HTC DROID Incredible HD is consistently getting 9 Mbps download and 5Mbps upload speeds.  Combine those speeds with a second generation 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and you’re sure to have one of the most impressive Android handsets (for the first half) of 2011.
