Video: HTC Schubert makes its video debut running Windows Phone 7

We know most of you have given up on Microsoft at this point, but for those who still hope that Windows Phone 7 will at least help in the competition department, we present to you a new video of the HTC Schubert.  For now, all we can do is enjoy the beautiful aluminum uni-body design since there are still no specifications to accompany the Schubert.  The way things are going these days, we should at least expect to see a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a 3.7 inch capacitive display.  The exterior design of the HTC Schubert definitely stands out from what HTC has been producing this year, though the curved edges do remind us quite a bit of the Nexus One and HTC Desire.

HTC is expected to launch their first Windows Phone 7 handset in Europe sometime in October, but there’s no guarantee that it will be the Schubert.  According to T-Mobile’s leaked roadmap from early July, the HTC Schubert could be showing up in the U.S. market in mid November.  As much as we are enjoying Android these days, we’re definitely excited to give Windows Phone 7 a try once this phone hits the streets.
