Verizon DROID Incredible “might be the Droid you are looking for” and is available for pre-order

I know, it’s a lame title, but that was the final conclusion from Engadget after reviewing the phone for the weekend.  Overall, the boys over at Engadget seem to think that the HTC made DROID Incredible is by far the best smartphone on the Verizon network and also the best Android phone money can buy.  We haven’t had the chance to play with the DROID Incredible yet, but we can say that anticipation for the phone is extremely high.  If you want to read through Engadget’s hands-on review, head on over to their site.  If you’re familiar with the Nexus One, not much has changed, but they do note that the camera has some noticeable improvements and HTC has managed to make the 3.7 AMOLED screen more responsive.

The next chapter of the DROID saga continues today if you just can’t wait until April 29th.  Verizon has just opened their pre-order site for business and hoping you will shell out $299.99 (before MIR) for the best Android phone money can buy.  If anyone was wondering if Verizon was going to really push the DROID name with the Incredible, the image above should give you that answer.

  1. Yawn. More of the same lameness that we’ve seen from other HTC products. Meanwhile, the next iPhone is coming in weeks, and will leapfrog every Android device ever made by YEARS, once again redefining the very idea of portable computing.
