T-Mobile myTouch 3G 1.2 to feature Swype keyboard

In about a week, T-Mobile will be launching a new and improved myTouch 3G with 3.5mm headphone jack and a small boost of internal memory. We’ve known about the specs for some time now, but a new internal document from T-Mobile has just revealed that the new myTouch will feature Swype’s new keyboard technology. The Swype works like any old touch screen keyboard, but it also packs in the ability to simply swype your finger over the letters to create the words rather than tapping them. There’s currently a beta version of the Swype keyboard available for the DROID, but we’ve played with it on the Samsung Omnia 2 (Windows Mobile) and it works quite well.

  1. I’m confused? How do you know the myTouch 3G 1.2 will feature Swype? Where is the internal document you referred to in the article?

  2. where did you get this info? i myself would be careful to be crediting sources, as you would probably expect as well. It would be quite a shame if hypothetically some emails were obtained via subpeona that showed collusion amongst some blogs with the intent to discredit another blog. Affecting someones income is a bitch!

  3. I’ve been using swype for a few weeks now and love it. It will be the solution to the hardware vs. software in my opinion it just cell solution my point of its really a amazing
    product.
