HTC Tattoo pictures and specs

In my last blog post, I noted that the HTC Tattoo will be an entry-level Android phone for the masses, but expect the Tattoo to be a sluggish handset with antiquated specs.  The HTC Tattoo will be powered by a Qualcomm® MSM7225™, 528 MHz and will features 512 MB of ROM and 256 MB of RAM.  If you want to compare that to the Hero, the HTC Tattoo simply has 32 MB of RAM less.  The Tattoo will have HSPA/WCDMA and Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, GPS, Bluetooth® 2.0, Wi-Fi, G-sensor, Digital Compass, FM Radio and a microSD card slot.  The HTC Tattoo will also be able to play Windows Media® Video 9 files just like the HTC Hero.  Unfortunately, being an entry-level phone does have a few downsides.  The Tattoo’s battery will be limited to 1100 mAh and the 2.8” will only support 240×320 QVGA resolution.

Be sure to check out the fill spec sheet after the jump.  Is it just me or does that Tattoo really have mass market appeal.
