New HTC Vive logo revealed in Taiwan

With the announcement of the HTC Vive being delayed until April, HTC now has more time to fine tune the whole Vive brand; including the logo.

We have yet to hear an official announcement on the matter, but the logo was on display at an event in Taipei, Taiwan earlier this week and an attendee shared pictures of the new logo while he had a demo of the virtual reality experience.

We haven’t seen this or any logo besides the Vive lettering paired with the Steam logo on much of the advertising prior to this week and HTC hasn’t updated the Vive website or social channels yet.

The new logo is a triangle with a circular inner shape. The font on the letters have also been revamped. The outside of the V’s look similar to the triangle’s exterior as well.

It kind of reminds me of the rotary engine in the Mazda RX-8!

It’s nice to see the HTC Vive brand coming to life while we are forced to wait until February where we will at least get a chance to pre-order the best virtual reality system out there.

      • I wish I could, but as a recent graduate, with tuition fee loans to start paying soon I unfortunately will not be able to. I would love to experience it though and hope some public VR experiences are made available in London.
