T-Mobile HTC One (M8) Andorid 4.4.3 update now available

The Android 4.4.3 update is finally rolling out to the T-Mobile HTC One (M8). The update was previously released for the Developer Edition and European models of the HTC One (M8) in late July. The Android 4.4.3 update is actually a lot more than what the name implies. Rather than releasing the 4.4.3 update and then pushing out a separate 4.4.4 update, HTC’s software engineers were able to fold in the security fixes from 4.4.4 into the One (M8)’s 4.4.3 code.

HTC has also included the latest versions of its core applications in the new update. HTC has methodically re-coupled about a dozen of its Sense 6 apps from the OS, making them available through Google Play. While users always have access to the latest versions of the apps, HTC wants to make sure that the apps don’t have to be updated if your T-Mobile HTC One (M8) needs a hard reset.

Most of you won’t notice any real difference in performance with the latest update, but feel free to leave us a comment if you see anything out of the ordinary once the update is installed on your phone.

  1. What about T-Mobile Poland? We are still with 4.4.2 and don’t even have extreme power Saving mode available…
