Sprint unveils HTC One (M8) Harman/Kardon edition

If you’ve always thoughts that the audio quality from your smartphone wasn’t up to snuff, you’ll want to check out the newly announced HTC One (M8) Harman/Kardon edition from Sprint. The Harman/Kardon edition One (M8) comes with an anodized aluminum chassis with champagne gold speaker grills on the font. The HTC One (M8) Harman/Kardon edition can also play 24-bit, 192kHz lossless .FLAC files, an accomplishment many high-end home entertainment systems aren’t able to pull off. The phone also features Clari-Fi mp3 decoding for improved audio reproduction and LiveStage enhancements which  “provides a more lifelike headphone listening experience by adding dimension to the sound.”

Other specs like the 5-inch 1080 display, 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and the Duo Camera on the back match the HTC One (M8) spec for spec. Those who buy the special edition phone will also get free access to Spotify and a $149 paid of Harman Kardon earbuds included in the $229 on-contract price. Sprint will start selling the HTC One (M8) Harman/Kardon edition online on May 2nd through sprint.com and at Sprint retail stores on May 9th.
