HTC U12+ unboxing

The HTC U12+ is currently up for pre-orders with the first round of units expected to ship put in early June. That being said, HTC was kind enough to send us a review unit of the phone to allow us to get started on our full review, camera tests and much more. But since all of those videos and posts take some time to put together, we thought we’d kick things off with a simple unboxing of the HTC U12+.

As you can see in the video, the device we have didn’t come in a retail box, but the phone itself is a final production unit with the same software and accessories that everyone else will have when they purchase the HTC U12+. Included in the box is the phone, a Quick Charge 3.0 charging plug, a USB C to USB A cable and USonic headphones which connect to the phone over USB C since the device does not feature a 3.5mm headphone jack.

For more details about the phone, be sure to watch the video and check out the image gallery below. We’re also putting together an HTC U12+ Q&A video for later this week, so please leave your questions about the phone in the comments and we’ll try to answer as many of them as possible in that video.
