HTC U11 Life leak reveals all major specs

The launch of the Pixel 2 is drawing near, but today’s HTC news is regarding the upcoming HTC U11 Life. New information from LlabTooFeR indicates that the Android One phone will have a pretty nice specs sheet which includes a 5.2-inch 1080p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, the option for 3 or 4GB of RAM which are paired with 32GB or 64GB of storage, 16MP camera on the front and back of the phone, IP67 water and dust resistance, a 2600mah battery, HTC’s Edge Sense, USonic audio (that pretty much guarantees that there will be no 3.5mm headphone jack) and Android Oreo.

There’s still no launch date associated with the HTC U11 Life, but with this much known about the phone, we expect it to be officially unveiled sometime this month. Google’s Android One program had typically attracted budget-tier devices from lesser-known manufacturers, but Xiaomi jumped in with their won Android One phone a few months back and Moto has a version of the Moto X4 which will soon be shipping as an Android One device as well. SInce the HTC U11 Life and the Moto X4 will feature roughly the same specs, expect the U11 Life to sell for around $400.

Do you see value in Google’s Android One program since the phones run near-stock Android and get updates to the latest software before most other devices do?
