New HTC U11 Life rumor suggests it’ll only have a Snadragong 630

The HTC U11 Life is circling the rumor mill once again. Our friends at Android Authority have been able to dig up some new information regarding the rumored smartphone while also confirming that the device will feature a 5.2-inch 1080p display, 32GB of storage, a microSD card slot, 16MP cameras on the front and back, the same USonic audio setup as the HTC U11 and a pressure sensitive body which enables HTC’s Edge Sense.

The new bit of information is that the HTC U11 Life will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 instead of the Snapdragon 660. The 630 isn’t as powerful as the 660, but it’s still a capable chip and 30% more powerful than the Snapdragon 626 it replaces.

Below are a few Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 feature

  • The 14-bit Qualcomm Spectra 160 ISP supports cameras that capture up to 24 megapixels single ISP images with zero shutter lag. Spectra is also designed to deliver smooth zoom, lightning-fast autofocus, and true-to-life colors for vivid photos.
  • 4K video capture and playback is integrated, so users can record high-definition videos at 30frames per second, straight from the device.
  • Support for Bluetooth 5 which can double a device’s transfer speed and quadruple its Bluetooth range
  • Qualcomm Quick Charge 4
