We’re not sure yet if the HTC U11 is a better smartphone that the Samsung Galaxy S8, but its $649 price point certain is. If you were thinking about buying the unlocked HTC U11 directly from HTC, you can now save $50 on your pre-order by enter the “LOVEU11” promo code during checkout. With the promo code applied, the price of the HTC U11 drops from $646 to $599, making significantly more affordable than the $729 Samsung Galaxy S8. For now, the promo code appears to be valid only within the US, but HTC could be running other market-specific pre-order promotions as well.
The HTC U11 has quite a bit to offer, but it’s nice to see HTC is willing to offer some pre-order promotions in order to get potential buyers to buy the bullet and pay for the phone before the first round of reviews come out.
