T-Mobile has updated its HTC One M9 Software update page to show that the phone’s Android Nougat update is now in testing. While the unlocked version of the HTC One M9 in the US has been running on Android 7.0 for a while now, carrier-branded devices always take a bit longer to receive their updates.
The phone’s page doesn’t say when the Nougat update will be made available, but it will likely be 4-6 weeks before T-Mobile or HTC reveal that the new software built is ready for public consumption.
