Pixel XL dimension and new photos revealed in new leak

With less than a week to go before the unveiling of the Pixel and Pixel XL, we now have the exact measurements of the Pixel XL. The phone will measure 154.72mm x 75.74mm x 8.5mm with the bottom of the phone slimming down to 7.3mm. If the measurements are accurate, the Pixel XL will fall between the Nexus 6P’s 159.3 x 77.8 x 7.3mm and the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge’s 150.9 x 72.6 x 7.7mm measurements.

The leak was also accompanied by a new image which shows off the front and back of Pixel XL. While we’ve seen more than a handful of leaked images before, this new shot gives us an extremely clear look as some of the design details of the phone. The glass panel on the back appears to have a matte finish and the rounded edges of the phone look like come to an abrupt end with a shallow chamfer which meets up with the glass on the front of the device.

We’re fairly excited that the HTC-built Pixel phones will be officially unveiled next week, but the devices themselves appear to be a bit underwhelming. If Google prices the devices at $600 or higher, we’re not sure why an HTC fan would choose either of them over the HTC 10. Then again, Google could surprise us with something that we’re not even expecting. You never know.
