This could be the first leaked image of the Nexus Marlin

According to TechDroider, the image below is the first real photo of the upcoming Nexus Marlin. Unfortunately, the device’s body is not shown off at all since it is housed in a case and the image is cropped in close, around the phone’s display. The source claims that the device in questions features 128GB of internal storage, sports a metal body (similar to that of the HTC 10) and has a fingerprint sensor which is located on the back of the phone.

What is revealed in the picture is that the prototype Nexus Marlin is running on Android N (Nougat) with the latest security patch from July. There is no solid information regarding when the Nexus Marlin and Nexus Sailfish will be unveiled or when the two devices will go on sale. Last year’s Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X were officially announced at the end of September, suggesting that we may have to wait another 8 to 10 weeks before Google unleashes the HTC-built Nexus phones into the world.
