Rumor: HTC-built Nexus S1/Sailfish specs revealed

With HTC expected to unveil two different Nexus phones later this year, we’re finally getting some solid information regarding the components which will be used to power the devices. The HTC Nexus S1/Sailfish is expected to be the replacement for the LG Nexus 5X.

According to the latest rumor, the HTC Nexus S1/Sailfish will feature a 5-inch 1080p display, 2.- GHz quad-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 2,770 mAh battery, 12 megapixel camera on the back, 8 megapixel front-facing camera, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port and Bluetooth 4.2. The device will apparently not come with BoomSound as the mian speaker will be located on the bottom edge with a 3.5mm headphone jack located on the top.

While the HTC 10 is one of the best Android smartphones to come out in 2016, there are a lot of Android users who don’t like HTC’s software customizations on top of Android. The HTC Nexus S1/Sailfish will likely sell in the $400 to $500 range, but it’s hard to estimate the phone’s price until the processor information is made available.
