With pre-orders of the HTC 10 finally making their way to eager customers, HTC has also been sending out a Thank You email to those who pre-ordered the phone from htc.com in the US. While it’s always nice when a company thanks you for purchasing a device that you’ve saved your money up for, HTC is going a step further by promising a “small token of appreciation” which will be mailed out within the news week or two.
HTC isn’t saying that the gift will be, but there’s a good chance that those who pre-ordered the HTC 10 form HTC’s site in the US will get the HTC High-Res Audio Earphones. The earphones are bundles with the HTC 10 in Europe and other international markets, but HTC decided not to include them with the phone in the US and Canada. Leaving them out of the box in the US will probably save HTC $10-$15 million over the lifetime of the phone. If the HTC High-Res Audio Earphones are not the mystery surprise, our second guess is that it will be the HTC Ice View case.
HTC’s had a history of bundling accessories with its flagship smartphones in the US over the year, but customers usually know what the bundle is when the fork over their money for the phone. If you pre-ordered the HTC 10 in the US form HTC and you were given the option to choose, which accessory would you want for your new smartphone?

I guess they are sending the HTC Ice View case. I pre-ordered the HTC 10 with the case, but they shipped just the HTC 10 with out the case. They charged me just for the HTC 10. So, I guess they didn’t ship the case with my order because they are giving away a free case. They will be dull to send the case twice.
I hope it’s the headphones. I do not like the ice view case. I already purchased a case before my phone arrived.
4 weeks after pre- order no signs of the token? no one else talk about topic any more so what happened? ?????????????
I also hoped to get high-res earphones or ice view case but…Yesterday I received this ‘small token of appreciation’….extra USB type-C cable.
