Pictures of a HTC One A9 dummy unit give us a clear look at the phone’s details

With only ten days to go before the unveiling of the HTC One A9, @onleaks has shared four new images which give us a clear and up-close look at a One A9 dummy unit. Overall, the design of the HTC One A9 in the new pictures matches up with the numerous leaks we’ve already seen, but the details reveal the speaker slits on the bottom edge of the phone, removable microSD and SIM card slots on its left edge, textured power button on the right, black plastic panel on the top (similar in design to what we’ve seen on the HTC One M8 and One M9) and the slight protrusion of the camera lens on the back.

It’s nice to see new details of the hardware revealed, but we have yet to see a photo pf the phone in flattering light or at a good angle. Many have said that the HTC One A9 isn’t much to look at, but we’d like to remind you that all the leaks of the HTC One, One M8 and One M9 didn’t leave us impressed either. We can’t guarantee that the HTC One A9 will be the best looking Android phone when it’s unveiled on October 20, but there’s a very good chance that it will be a lot more striking than any of the leaks we’ve seen so far.

  1. HTC is just dying… So sad, I really loved them… Maybe as a phoenix… Someday, they will reborn… But for now, they are really dead.

  2. Speaker at the bottom? Middle of the road specs. Uninspired design. HTC just doesn’t get it.

    1. No, the iphone looks like an HTC handset. Apple stole the HTC design, not the other way around.
