HTC One A9 pictures, specs and price revealed by Orange France

The HTC One A9 isn’t “official” quite yet, but there’s no denying that the cat’s out of the bag. Orange France has inadvertently published its product page for the HTC One A9, offering up high-resolution images of the phone in two of its color options, confirmed a handful of rumored specs (5-inch 1080p display, 13 megapixel rear camera, 4 megapixel front-facing camera and Android 6.0) and even revealing Orange’s €599.90 off-contract price for the HTC One A9.

Besides the fact that Orange published the product page a week early, the most shocking new information is the price of the HTC One A9. While the design of the phone is a mix between that of the HTC One M7 and Droid DNA, the mid-range specs led us to believe that the A9’s main selling point would be its affordability. We were honestly expecting an unlocked HTC One A9 to sell for €450 or less. At €599.90, the HTC One A9 carries the same sticker price as Orange’s iPhone 6. Then again, the page shouldn’t even be published, so the listed price may simply be a placeholder until the real price is added in.

We’ll just have to wait until October 20 to find out.

  1. Terrible. They copied iPhone, removed innovative front speakers which I miss a lot with my SGS6E and still left awful HTC bar. Am I only thinking that best mobile manufacturer is shutting down next year?

  2. I think phone is good looking and against iphone lovers. Vide should be cheaper and better bcoz of Android habitat and hardware.
Its not even a flagship and goes against apples flagship and only phone.
HTC made few mistakes hope somebody will buy them to wake/shake system.

  3. Copy cat. I don’t like where the home button is place too. They should have just remove the htclogo the centered the home button. Not so cool

  4. Samsung & iPhone at once?
C’mon HTC be original, M8 is way better than this.
