Could HTC launch two surprise products this week?

We’ve already viewed everything these is to know about the upcoming HTC One A9 thanks to the loose lips out there. So my question is what else is HTC going to unveil as part of the #BeBrilliant campaign? Running off a recent rumor and the splash page on HTC’s launch page, I’d like to get my hopes up that HTC will announce a new product; one that HTC managed to keep a secret from everyone. Around the same time last year, when HTC announced the HTC One M8 Eye they also surprised us with the launch of the HTC Re and the Under Armor partnership which almost bread a smart, fitness-tracking wrist device.

If the recent rumors are true, HTC will be putting a bunch of marketing into the product launch on October 20th. Is the HTC One A9 the only device HTC will announce? Why advertise so hard for a mid-range device that doesn’t come with the traditional flagship title (those are announced in March/April)? HTC has to bring something more to the table and they want everyone to know about it that’s why they are going to livestream the event to the masses.

HTC Vive

HTC Vive

The Vive is no surprise, but it’s launch and availability dates are still anonymous. Is HTC ready to launch the HTC Vive? There’s already been a world wide tour with demos of the game-changing virtual reality kit. The product is functional ready. Is the Vive standing behind the gate like a raging bull, ready to burst out with tons of energy, waving its rider around the arena with all eyes on it? We’re ready to be astonished.

Pre-orders please! Even if the Vive isn’t ready trust me, we’re ready to pay to get in line.

HTC Smartwatch

HTC BlinkFeed Watch

Android Wear made a big leap forward recently when it was announced that newer models can work with the iPhone so the market for an Android watch just boomed. I recently read an article rumoring that a trusted source said HTC was truly working on a smartwatch. Now, to be fair, you could tell me that HTC was planning to produce a butter knife and I’d happily pull my wallet out. I think HTC has the design power to innovate and inspire anything put on the docket. I want to say that HTC used the round analog clocks on the HTC Launch page as a hint. HTC could be planning to announce a round faced smartwatch and they hid a clue right in front of our faces.

The time is drawing near for the big #BeBrilliant launch and I guess it won’t be until then that we will find out what all the HTC hype is really about. What would you like to see HTC launch that we don’t already know is coming? I’m keeping my fingers crossed for that butter knife!

  1. Could throw in a Grip replacement which they decided not to launch in the summer and perhaps maybe a Windows 10 phone. Whatever happens I think we’ll be in for a surprise!

  2. Maybe few more phones. People will have so much to chose that make them dizzy and will go buy LG. Yeah HTC you rock.

  3. What about a JETSTREAM Tablet Redesigned.
Sort of like and HTC ONE in Tablet Form with the Same Designed Front Speakers and a Subwoofer on the Back.
    A 10″ or slightly Larger.
With 4GB RAM, 64GB or 128GB ROM, Micro SDXC Card, Wi-Fi AC, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro USB-C, Wireless Charging, 5 MP Front Camera, 21MP or Higher Rear Camera, OIS for Both Front and Rear Cameras, and Dual OS (Android/Windows 10) Pre-Installed.
