Wow! HTC is on a roll with these updates this week and today we have a nice roll out of some new features for HTC Sense Home particularly to HTC Themes as well as some attention to BlinkFeed. The update came to my phone this morning and while I haven’t had that much time to explore it the details from the page in the app stores speak loud enough.
HTC has added a considerable amount of enhancements to the theme tools from the website themes.htc.com. From there you can now re-edit your themes, use more colors, icon scaling, additional options for skinning the dialer, and I hadn’t noticed it before, but you can even change the way the buttons look on the navigation bar. On the next page you can modify the weather icons and numbers for the clock widget. Awesomeness!
From the app on the phone you will now notice each section will spotlight popular apps in the respective category so be sure to rate the themes you use to help the community.
What do you think of HTC’s latest update to Sense Home? Are you feeling inspired to create and share your own themes? Unfortunately, I think the nav buttons will only apply to phones with Sense 7 or higher, but I’ll try it in a bit to if I’m wrong.
