HTC One M9+ Aurora Edition announced with improved optics, laser auto-focus, optical image stabilization

Not satisfied with the camera on the HTC One M9+? Yes hello to the new HTC One M9+ Aurora Edition. If you’re familiar with the original HTC One M9+, the Aurora Edition will look and feel very similar – save for the main camera on the back. HTC has bumped the resolution of the camera from 20 megapixels to 21, crammed in optical image stabilization and even added laser auto-focus (a feature which LG has been using since last year). Other specs on the HTC One M9+ Aurora Edition include a Mediatek Helio X10 octa-core processor, 5.2-inch QHD display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage with expandable microSD card slot, UltrapPixel selfie cam and BoomSound speakers.

The HTC One M9+ Aurora Edition will be available in Taiwan on October 5 for NT$20,900 (roughly $630). HTC isn’t saying if or when the phone will be making its way to other markets, but we wouldn’t be surprised if HTC One M9+ Aurora Edition shows up in China or other major Asian markets in the next month or two.

  1. So whats new for US and Europe. Dont say A9 its lovely phone but not for big boys.
Why they cannot issue Batterfly 3 on all markets and earn decent amount of money is clearly a winner with IP57 2K screen and micro sd slot.
