Verizon’s HTC One M7 Lollipop update set for Thursday rollout – better late than never

After three and a half months of delays, the Android Lollipop update for the Verizon HTC One M7 finally has a rollout date. HTC’s Mo Versi revealed on Twitter this evening that the software update for the Verizon-branded One M7 will commence this Thursday. We’re not sure that the exact version number will be, but all other variants of the HTC One M7 were update to Android 5.0.1 with HTC Sense 6. The Android Lollipop update will change a handful of UI elements on the phone, but the HTC One M7’s Sense 6 update will allow the phone to take advantage of many of the new features that HTC has been rolling out through its app updates.

You still have roughly 36 hours until the update will be made available, but we wouldn’t blame you if you started to check for the update manually every few hours between now and Thursday. What new feature are you looking forward to the most with the Android Lollipop update?
