Arizon Sunshine SteamVR, HTC Vive game announced

The retail debut of the HTC Vive is set for the end of 2015, but game developers are already hard at work, developing virtual reality titles for HTC’s VR headset. Vertigo Games is one of the first indie developers to announce a title for the SteamVR platform. Arizona Sunshine is a first person zombie shooter which hope to bring the zombie apocalypse to life and scare the crap out of you.

The screenshots below are not impressive on their own, but that doesn’t really matter. HTC Vive’s immersive VR experience is what will make the game come to life as users will be able to literally walk through the virtual world and interact with their surroundings with the motion controls which are paired with the HTC Vive.

Arizona Sunshine is a VR shooter built and optimized for room-scale VR from the ground up. Step into the midst of a zombie apocalypse as if you were really there, and defend yourself against enemies close enough to touch. A custom-built physical animation system makes striking your undead enemies more thrilling and satisfying than ever before.

Arizon Sunshine doesn’t have a release date, but they have provided a list of recommended PC requirements to ensure the optimal user experience. Be sure to check out the video below for a quick preview of the Arizon Sunshine gaming experience.

  1. HTC Vive is vaporware until HTC builds a smartphone that sells. M9 was a flop, M9+ exclusive idiotic, and no One Max Phablet is a death roll for HTC. RIP HTC..
    Cheers

    1. I take it you’re not a PC gamer, all you have to do is look up Valve and Steam to see it isn’t vaporware.
