Android app of the week: HTC One Gallery

In this week’s episode of Android app of the week we’d like to go over the recently renamed HTC One Gallery app formerly known as Cloudex.

HTC One Gallery helps create a central repository for your photos. It doesn’t store the photos in the same place, but it allows a user to link the One Gallery to several outlets that photos might be stored in making them viewable in one location on your phone through the default photo gallery.

The current service available in the HTC One Gallery are Google Drive, Dropbox, Facebook, and Flickr which are all services I have used to store photos in. You use the One Gallery app for the set up process and the rest of the time you will access your photos from the gallery. While in the settings of the app you can specify whether or not to use mobile and Wi-Fi or just Wi-Fi to update and you can set a preference to preserve battery if it’s getting low. In the default gallery you can view photos by Timeline, Albums, Locations, Tags, and Downloads & screenshots.

This app was selected this week, because it was recently renamed and it is responsible for adding all my photos in to one single location for ease of access. Download and give it a shot today!
