HTC teases the launch of the”new HTC One” on March 1st

The March 1st inching closer, HTC wants us all to remember that the “new HTC One” is right around the corner. The HTC One (M9) is scheduled to be unveiled on March 1st at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Based on all the leaks we’ve seen over the past few months, the One (M9) will be a huge upgrade over last year’s One (M8).

The phone is expected to have a sleeker design, faster processor and a higher resolution camera which will deliver images with five times the resolution over last year’s One (M8). While all the phone’s specs are pretty much nailed down, we still do not know when the HTC One (M9) will go on sale. Last year, HTC shocked everyone by making the One (M8) available for purchase just hours after the phone was unveiled. We’re not expecting HTC to do the same this year, but we wouldn’t be surprised if the phone goes on sale in Europe and the US within two weeks of the March 1st launch event.

  1. I don’t think there will Be a delay , hopefully it’s the same as last year,I ordered mine from Sprint in release day and had it two days later.

  2. The Verizon M8 was available literally moments after it was announced (I got mine within the first hour at a local Verizon Wireless retail store). I expect the M9 will also be available immediately. The only possible delay would be Verizon’s testing process. Gotta make sure the bloatware *really* sucks.
