HTC Hima rumored to come in Gunmetal Gold, sized smaller than HTC One (M8)

Itching for more details about the rumored HTC Hima? Upleaks has revealed that the phone will measure in at 144.3 x 69.4 x 9.56 mm. For those keeping count, those dimensions would make the HTC Hima slightly smaller than this year’s HTC One (M8) – shaving off 2.1 mm in length and 1.2 mm in width while adding .16 mm to the phone’s depth.

Since Upleaks is still claiming that the HTC Hima will have a 5-inch display, the smaller footprint means that HTC will be removing the front HTC logo and reducing the size of the bezel around the display, retooling to BoomSound speakers to align with the design used on the HTC Desire Eye or both. The HTC One (M8) was significantly larger than other smartphones with the same size display, so we’re excited to hear that HTC’s next flagship will be slightly smaller.

Along with the size of the HTC Hima, we also have a new color option – Gunmetal Gold. The HTC One (M8) was available in Gold, but its powder-coat finish was the same as the silver model.

HTC flagship phone sizes

  • HTC Hima (rumored): 144.3 x 69.4 x 9.56 mm
  • HTC One (M8): 146.4 x 70.6 x 9.4 mm
  • HTC One (M7): 137.4 x 68.2 x 9.3 mm
