HTC Desire Eye, HTC RE now available from AT&T

AT&T is now selling the HTC Desire Eye and HTC RE online and in retail stores across the country. Priced at $149.99 with a two-year contract, the HTC Desire Eye is quite an impressive phone. In the past, HTC has used the Desire brand for its mid-range devices, but it could be argued that the Desire Eye is technically better than HTC’s flagship One (M8) since it sports two 13 megapixel cameras (one on the front and the other on the back) an gorgeous two-tone polycarbonate body and an impressive 5.2-inch 1080p display.

If you find yourself tempted by the HTC Desire Eye, you may also want to take a peek at the HTC RE. AT&T is selling the HTC RE for $199.99, but they are offering a $50 discount to those who purchase the Desire Eye and the RE together.

We love the metal body of the HTC One (M8), but we’re honestly hoping to see a lot more phone from HTC like the HTC Desire Eye in 2015.

  1. The HTC Desire Eye is a great smartphone. The design might be plastic, but it’s a solid, well constructed and weather-proofed handset pitched at a fair price point. It’s good in use thanks to having plenty of power on board, and has a great display too – albeit a large one.
