How to make a time lapse video using the HTC Re

The HTC Re is a handy camera with several cool features. Time lapse is one of those features and in the video below we’ll show you how to configure the Re using the companion app on your phone to make a time lapse of your own.

While in the remote shutter section of the app, tap the icon on the right and then the timer at the bottom left corner to get to the settings. You can select how often the Re will take a photo, how long the project will run, how smooth the playback will be, and if you want the project to be timed or stopped manually. Adjusting playback speed will help determine the file size of your finished time lapse and changing the photo frequency or length of time also affects the outcome. When you start the process, the record button displays the countdown.

Be mindful of your battery status, because you won’t be able to start a time lapse project without adequate battery life.

Don’t forget the HTC Re is on sale through tomorrow for half off!
