Rumor: HTC Nexus 9 tablet will be listed on Amazon

The HTC Nexus 9 tablet is back in the news cycle with a few new rumors. According to @upleaks, the HTC Nexus 9 (aka the HTC T1) CDMA/LTE model will be sold in the US and Japan. Specific carrier support is not referenced, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Verizon and Sprint decided to offer the upcoming Nexus tablet at a subsidized rate when bundles with a data plan.

The second bit of news claims that the Nexus 9 will be available from Amazon US. While Nexus enthusiasts typically like to buy their devices directly form Google Play, Amazon has traditionally offered Nexus tablets at a reasonable price to the public. We expect Best Buy and a handful of other mainstream electronics retailer to offer the HTC Nexus 9 once it is released later this quarter.
