HTC Nexus tablet rumor roundup: random accessories, keyboard case and WiFi/LTE market availability

Over the past few days, a handful of new HTC Nexus tablet rumors have hit the web, revealing an extensive list of accessories and details regarding which markets will be getting the WiFi and LTE variants of the device. While accessories may sound more exciting, we’re going to kick things off with market availability since we all want to know if we’ll be able to actually buy the upcoming HTC Nexus tablet.

According to @upleaks, the LTE equipped Nexus tablet will be heading to “Europe, Russia, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan, Australia(include NZ), Korea, HK.” If you’re not really interested in having LTE data everywhere you go, the WiFi variant of the HTC Nexus tablet will be available in “soooooo many countries, include Korea and Japan.” While Korea and Japan are the only markets mentioned, we can safely assume that the device will be available in the all countries that will get getting the LTE variant, plus a few more. No release ate were shared for specific markets, but rumor has it that the HTC Nexus tablet will go on sale before October 9.

On the accessory side, it looks like those planning to buy the HTC Nexus tablet will have quite a few first-part accessories to choose from. The list includes a Magic Cover (leather) in Natural and Black finishes, Magic Cover (TPU) in Coral, Amethyst/Mint, Indigo/Lime, Stone/Indigo and Black, and a mysterious Keyboard Folio. Google’s Nexus tablets have typically features wireless charging, so we’re a bit surprised that a wireless charging accessory is not listed. Either the materials used in the design of the HTC Nexus tablet don’t allow for wireless charging or the list of named accessories isn’t complete. We’re putting our money on the latter.

Now that we pretty much know all the specs, accessories and launch markets for the upcoming HTC Nexus tablet, all that’s really missing is the price. Since the very first rumor, the HTC Nexus tablet has been positioned as a premium device, so we’re expecting Google will be charging at least $300 for the entry-level 16GB, WiFi model.
