AT&T HTC One (M7) Sense 6 update now available

The HTC sense 6 update for the AT&T HTC One (M7) has landed. It may be a few days late, but I don’t think anyone will be complaining once they install the latest update to their phone. The Sense 6 update delivers most of the software features which made their debut on HTC One (M8). All the core Android apps have been updated and there are quite a few new customization options, but you won’t be getting Motion Gestures, UFocus or any of the M8′s fancy DuoCamera tricks.

The AT&T HTC one Sense 6 update is being pushed out it waves, but if you don’t want to wait 2-5 days to get it, you can ping the update servers manually by going to Settings > About Phone > Software update > Check nowto download the update immediately.  As always, we recommend having at least a 50% charge on your device and a good WiFi connection so that the update file doesn’t eat into your data cap.

Let us know how the update process goes and what new features you enjoy the most with HTC Sense 6 on the AT&T HTC One.

  1. I am unable – after update – to send/receive picture messages and group texts. Very frustrated.

    1. It could be related to provider. Vodafone in UK after update send text/texts that updated almost treat this like new sim.

Try reset phone as first step.

  2. I updated my AT&T M7 last week which ended up bricking my phone. Corrupted OS. I got a “like new” replacement sent to me the other day, but it keeps saying no update is available. Any thoughts?

  3. I had purchased an unlocked AT&T Htc one from Dubai and currently I am using it in India. I still have Jelly Bean and Sense 5.0. I tried updating but I get a message saying ‘no software updates available at this time’. I even tried by clicking on AT&T software update but nothing happens further. Please help!
