Sprint releases HTC One max Sense 6 update

Sprint has caught us all a little off guard today by beginning the rollout of the Sense 6 update for the HTC One max. From what we can tell, the new update for the HTC One max packs in nearly all the features that we’ve come to love on the HTC One (M8) except for Motion Gestures. Sprint has always been quick to run through the software testing phase, but we were honestly expecting them to push out the Sense 6 update for last year’s HTC One before the max.

If you’re the proud owner of a Sprint-branded HTC One max and have yet to receive the update,  , go to Settings > About Phone > Software update > Check now to download it manually. The 537MB update is quite large, so we suggest you have a full charge and have a decent WiFi connection before you get started. After the update is installed, the One max will still be running on Android 4.4, but it’ll feel like a brand new phone thanks to all the new features and cleaner UI.

Enjoy!
