Verizon’s timed exclusive of the Glacial Silver HTC One (M8) will soon be coming to an end. HTC’s Jason Mackenzie has revealed that the Glacial Silver HTC One (M8) will be heading to AT&T stores on April 25th. While it’s exciting to see that Verizon isn’t the only US service provider to offer the Glacial Silver option to its customers, not all US service providers are going to offer all of the color options.
We reached out to Jason Mackenzie on Twitter, asking if the Glacial Silver HTC One (M8) will also be heading to T-Mobile. Unfortunately, it looks like the HTC One (M8) on T-Mobile will not be getting the Glacial Silver color treatment. T-Mobile customers can only purchase the phone in Gunmetal Gray, but Sprint customers do have the Gunmetal Gray and Amber Gold option if they choose to buy the phone from Best Buy.

We understand that HTC and its service provider partners make decisions like there based on their financial needs, but they often fail to see that consumers are the ones who end up pulling the short straw. Yes, T-Mobile customers have the option of purchasing the Unlocked HTC One (M8) directly from HTC in all three colors, but the device isn’t fully compatible with T-Mobile’s HSPA+ and LTE networks.
