Leaked brochure reveals price, Duo Camera features for the all new HTC One
Most of the details that are known about the all new HTC One have come from leaks which have not provided any substantial evidence to back up their claims. Fortunately, today’s leak with new details about the all new HTC One is accompanied with a brochure from Telstra, revealing that Australia’s largest mobile service provider will sell the phone for $840 AUD (roughly $760 USD) off-contract.
The brochure confirms that the handset will feature a 5-inch full HD display and front-facing BoomSound stereo speakers with dedicated amplifiers. The dual-sensor camera on the back of the all new HTC One is also given a name – Duo camera. The brochure claims that the Duo Camera on the all new HTC One will allow you to “create vivid images even in low light and professionally edit memories after you’ve taken the shot. Choose where to focus, highlight what you love, soften backgrounds and add 3D effects.” The description of the 2014 HTC One’s Duo Camera sounds nearly identical to the dual-camera features in Corephotonics’ sensors which were shown off at Mobile World Congress.
While the hardware on the all new HTC One has gotten most of the attention up to this point, the leak also highlights some of the new features we’ll see with HTC Sense 6. The brochure describes Sense 6 as a more simple user experience, users will be able to double tap the screen to wake the device (similar to LG’s Knock-On feature) and new swipe gestures will give you quick access to your favorite apps, news and social media.
We have exactly 14 days to go until the March 25th unveiling of the all new HTC One. We hope the anticipation doesn’t kill you.
