HTC M8 hardware and software shown off in 12 minute hands-on video

If you’ve been fascinated by the HTC M8 leaks, boy do we have a surprise for you. A 12 minute hands-on video of an AT&T branded HTC M8 test model has just hit YouTube, showing off the handset’s brushed silver unibody chassis, dual-camera setup and HTC Sense 6.0. The teenage boy who posted the video most likely received the handset from a parent who works at AT&T (we hope HTC doesn’t raise too much of a fuss, but we’d imagine someone isn’t going to have a good day when they go into work on Monday.

From what we can tell, HTC Sense 6.0 isn’t a huge leap forward in terms of design, but the UI does have a few new tweaks which are immediately notifiable. HTC has toned down its use of graphics in the settings menu, the camera has a completely new look and BlinkFeed appears lighter and more intuitive than before. As you can imagine, the software on the HTC M8 is a bit buggy, but that’s what we’d expect since the video was shot in mid-February.

If you don’t have time to watch the 12 minute video of the HTC M8, check out our gallery of screen grabs below.

  1. Shame this boy has no clue what he has in hands. Music what he plays is bad and bad enough to test quality.

Qality of the phone, details and finish is well above any android phone.

    Wish good years for HTC.
