HTC jumps into the wearable space with HTC Gluuv

Remember those stories about HTC introducing a new wearable product this year? That day has arrived! HTC has just announced the HTC Gluuv – “the first wearable tech that doesn’t sacrifice size for comfort. Beyond a tiny eyepiece, the HTC One Sense-powered full-feature set displays in brilliant HD 1080P resolution. Hi-fiving the future never looked so good.” The HTC Gluuv was built to pair seamlessly with the new HTC One (M8), but its 87.2 megapixel camera and finger tracking “thumbs” up features mean you can always capture the perfect shot or “like” your favorite restaurant without having to pull your phone out of your pocket.

As awesome as the HTC Gluuv sounds, we have to break it to you – it’s all a big April fool’s joke. The Nintendo Power Glove-inspired wearable isn’t much more than a stage prop with a fancy website. We’re sure HTC’s first real wearable device (due out later this year) will be a lot more functional and just a tad smaller.

    1. Lol. Actually @Nisher did via Twitter about an hour ago. He and the social media team have been working on this for quite some time.

      1. I saw 3rd one as was lucky to be in first 30s to see 1&2 on HTCanada at night before mob.

So 3rd one is cool. Batman jumps on roof and over chimney with his distinctive voice. Gordon Gordon…
Gordon is watching his phone in dark and then blast he switched on torch on HTC One M8 and music gets tempo.

Waiting for 4th one. Getting interesting.

      2. I’m digging on the BlahBlah commercial w/ the Comish. I’m constantly running across rants about the M8’s camera, battery, and suckiness in General. Yet, none cites a source or facts to back up the rant. I give them the “BlahBlah” award. Post HTC’s YouTube link to the BlahBlah Commercial. Folks thus far, enjoy it.
Looking forward to batman one. I have not seen it yet.

  1. O good camera 87Mp. Heavy files but hey will send my grandmother to break her pc.
