Six Canadian service providers begin HTC One Android 4.4 certification

According to HTC Canada’s software update page, the HTC One Android 4.4 update is now being certified by six Canadian service providers (Bell, Rogers TELUS, Virgin Mobile, Wind and SaskTel). It’s not clear when the software update page was updated, but it’s probably safe to assume it happened a few days ago when HTC USA handed over the HTC One Android 4.4 update to Sprint, Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile.

The HTC One Android 4.4 update for the Canadian HTC One should be accompanied by HTC Sense 5.5 which is packed with dozens of new features, bug fixes and enhancement to BlinkFeed and Video Highlights. The certification shouldn’t take too long since HTC is expecting US service providers will be providing their stamp of approval on the new software build sometime next week.
