HTC posts preliminary Q4 earnings report with $10.3 million in profits

HTC closed out 2013 with its preliminary earnings report for Q4, highlighted by $10.3 million in profits. While HTC remained in the black thanks to $85 million in proceeds from the sales its remaining stake in Beats Audio, the latest numbers indicate that HTC managed to stay profitable in 2013. It’s unclear how long HTC’s earnings reports will remain stagnant. The company is hoping to turn things around in 2014 with the release of the HTC M8 – the successor to 2013’s highlight acclaimed HTC One.

We certainly hope HTC is able to regain its footing this year, but we have not seen any real change from HTC which indicates that this year will be any different than the last. HTC needs to live us to its new slogan – Here’s To Change.
