Verizon HTC One max pricing mistakenly revealed at new concept store unveiling

Verizon has unveiled a new store concept at Mall of America today, highlighting “the internet of things” and how Verizon’s communications infrastructure is able to connect our digital lives while at home and on the go. We were lucky enough to attend the store unveiling, but the one thing which caught our attention was actually something a little closer to home – the HTC One max. Verizon did not have a demo unit in the store, but one of the massive interactive touch-screen displays did feature the HTC One max and its price. The on-contract price of the HTC One max was listed at $299.99 or $24.99 per month on Verizon EDGE.

As we feared the image of the HTC One max also shows that Verizon’s logo is featured front and center, replacing the HTC logo below the screen. We’re not too happy about HTC relinquishing its branding on the phone, especially since Sprint released the device without any carrier branding on the phone’s hardware. We’re still waiting for Verizon to officially announce the launch date and price, but if you simply can’t wait to get your hands on the HTC One max, we suggest you take a trip to your local Sprint store.
