HTC M8 rumored to launch on four U.S. carriers by the end of Q1

The HTC M8 rumors continue with news that HTC’s flagship Android phone will be available on four U.S. service providers by the end of Q1, 2014. While @evleaks does not name each service provider in his latest Tweets, it’s safe to assume that T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T and Verizon will all be on the list. We’d be ecstatic if Verizon somehow manages to launch the HTC One at the same time as everyone else, but we know how easy it is for Big Red to disappoint us.

Pushing the HTC M8 out by the end of Q1 may seem ambitious, but let’s not forget that the HTC One’s launch plan originally called for a March 22 launch on Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile. Due to supply issues of the HTC One’s camera components, the phone did’t reach the U.S. market until the middle of April, but the company did manage to ship the device to a select number of European markets before the end of Q1 of this year.

Do you think a Q1 U.S. launch of the HTC M8 will give HTC the upper hand on 2014’s smartphone race?
