Android 4.3 now available for HTC One in Canada

Looks like HTC was able to hit its end of September rollout plan for the Android 4.3 update for the HTC One in Canada. Yesterday, HTC and its Canadian carrier partners flipped the switch, releasing the update for those who have Rogers, Bell, Virgin Mobile and TELUS branded HTC Ones. Build 3.22.631.1 includes launcher bar enhancements, a widget lock screen style, home button behavior modification (remove black menu bar from screen), ability to display battery level percentage in the notification bar, quick settings, 6 new Video Highlights themes with custom music options, improved Zoe file management and more. Essentially, this update combines all of the features of HTC’s Android 4.2.2 update with the new enhancements delivered with the 4.3 update which started rolling out in Taiwan yesterday.

Those who have not yet received the update can ping HTC’s servers manually by going to Settings > About > Software Updates > Check now.

Now all we need is the U.S. release of the update for the HTC one on Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T. Stay tuned!
