130 Snapdragon-powered HTC Ones Recreate Matrix-style Bullet Time

Calling it the “Ultimate Smartphone Photobooth,” Qualcomm used 130 Snapdragon-powered HTC One smartphones in one spiral housing to show off the power of the Qualcomm Snapdragon processors.  The Snapdragon Photobooth setup equals to 540 degrees of movement.  The result of this is that people can enter the booth and recreate Matrix-style bullet time.  You can see this in action by watching the video below.

Although it looks awesome, this is not an original concept.  There are already several videos on YouTube with users using GoPros to create this effect.  However, it is the first to use smartphones to do so and further raises the already great portfolio of the HTC One.

Qualcomm Snapdragon is also having a contest for a select city to experience the “Ultimate Smartphone Booth.”  The cities include San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Dallas, New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, Miami, and Philadelphia.  To vote or to learn more, visit Snapdragon Booth.
