New HTC One max details, pictures leaked

It’s an HTC One max kinda day. Multiple stories have surfaced, giving us new pictures and details about the device. While most of them are good, there may be a chance that the HTC One max may not be as powerful as we had originally hoped.

The new details claim that the HTC One max is running on Android 4.3 with a 5.9″ 1080p display, 1.7GHz processor (Snapdragon 600 or S4 Pro – not the Snapdragon 800 which has been featured in most rumors), 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 3,300mAh battery, 4 Ultrapixel main camera (optical stabilization status unknown at this point) with LED flash, 2.1MP front-facing camera and a sensor on the back side of the device which may act as a fingerprint scanner and a trackpad.

The HTC One max (listed in the leaks as the HTC 8088) will be priced at around $800 in China and is expected to make its debut there in October. Unfortunately, we do not know when HTC plans on unveiling the HTC One max or what the price or release dates will be for the US and European markets. Now that Apple, Samsung and Sony’s fall lineups have been unveiled, we’re hoping HTC will be stepping into the spotlight soon with the HTC One max.

  1. I hope that the S600 or S4Pro will be for the Chinese market only, like the dual SIM versions or the microSD ones, and not for an international release. I’m really considering getting this device but if the S600/S4Pro is true, probably picking one of the Note 3 or Z Ultra.
